About Me

Hi! I am Richa Parikh, an HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and a member of BAAT and TATAI. I have completed my Masters in Art Psychotherapy in London and work with an integrative, psychodynamic and person-centred approach, creating a safe, warm, accepting, and non-judgmental space.
My journey into Arts in Health began with my background as an artist, where my practice invited the audience to connect and reflect on their lived experiences through sensory stimuli. Alongside exhibitions and awards recognising my creative practice, I have experience as an art educator and facilitator, working with children and young individuals.
My clinical experience includes NHS inpatient rehabilitation with adults and young adults experiencing psychosis, early trauma, anxiety, depression, and SEMH challenges. I am guided by the belief that art is not simply an act of making, but of witnessing and containing, allowing individuals to be held, seen, and heard in the fullness of their being
